I call these images 'live clubscapes'. Recent Images in charcoal and pastel made 'on location' in dance-clubs and live music events. Participation as well as observation feed the outcome (2010-2020).
Keep It Unreal - Mr Scruff at Southport ‘22
Drawn/painted in artists pastels straight after Southport Weekender 2022, at Butlins, Bognor Regis, when the Sounds and Images were still fresh. Featuring House Music DJ Andy Ward (Birmingham) ‘on the wire’. Pastel and charcoal on blue Canson Paper 75cm x 55cm. From ‘Secrets Of Southport’, - a series of 8 new artworks exploring and celebrating the Happenings of Southport 2022, - which have not been published or exhibited until now (March 2023). A Ltd number of Pre-order, individual prints are available before this year’s event kicks off on March 17th.
